“When the Waco Tribune-Herald was challenged, due to a change in ownership, with developing a complete new website in six months, we thought it was manageable. We were wrong. It was so much more involved than we could have imagined. But we knew a resource, John Reetz, and his company, Media Solutions Partners. MSP was hired to aid us in meeting our goal. One word – success. John and his team kept us on our timeline, brought in vendors that we weren’t even aware of, and did so with an affable and energetic style. His attention to detail, knowledge of the vendors, and industry contacts was invaluable. The project would not have been nearly as seamless without him. Thanks to MSP for stepping in and making organization out of chaos.”
– Donna Tadlock, CFO, Waco Tribune-Herald

“When I took the helm of two small community newspapers, I knew we had to quickly get up to speed online. We had a small staff, no equipment and few online skills. But we had two things that made all the difference – enthusiasm and John Reetz and his team. They gave us tutorial, equipment, encouragement and never made us feel that we were less important than the big metros. John is the epitome of the gracious gentleman, visionary and creative, intelligent and available to dissect any problem.”

“John is a true entrepreneur and a visionary leader, who always dares his team to think bigger.”

At Limelight we first worked with MSP/John when we both signed on to assist a mid-size Texas newspaper and web site in a rapid conversion off of its previous owner’s corporate infrastructure. Limelight, as the WCM (web content management) provider, and MSP, as consultant working for the paper, had 107 days from contract signing to get a completely redone web site up and running, or the new owners faced substantial charges from the previous owners.
John not only has the technical expertise to work with architects and developers to understand the nuances of such a complex project, but he is also an expert on working with the owners and publisher, and guiding management on proper decisions for such a significant undertaking. In his role at the paper, he not only worked with the Limelight development team and a jointly-chosen web design partner, but he also worked with classified vendors, product and utility vendors and other web services companies to build the web-site from ground-up.
Because of the successful joint effort between Limelight and the newspaper and its staff with John as the project leader, the site was launched 13 days early.A key factor in that success was MSP’s knowledge and ability to understand new technology, his ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with all parties, his understanding of the web product and the newspaper’s needs and his attention to detail, which kept the project on target.

“Words of colleagues with whom you have shared so much are the greatest testament to a job well done. That so many people would say so many honest and wonderful things about you is proof of that. It has been an honor to be your colleague. For I knew any work that contained your “byline” would be work upon which everyone could rely. It’s always been that way with you. May it always remain that way.”
